A: We do not recommend painting it. Pressure-Treated products do not need protection from the elements. But if your decorative decisions call for paint, make sure the wood is dry before application. (Pour some water over the surface. If it beads, wait; if it seeps into the wood, it's ready to paint).
A: Yes, but the wood is treated and rough so it’s not likely look great. The vinyl versions might finish better.
A: Hello Charlotte, The manufacturer recommends 1-5/8 in. galvanized screws that you insert only AFTER pre-drilling the wood so that the screw does not split the wood of the lattice. If you plan to connect more than one sheet of lattice (as in two sheets being used side-by-side to make a larger sheet), you'll want to get lattice divider moulding (and potentially a cap to protect the sides of the wood). Both can be found by typing those keywords into the Homedepot.com site search bar. You'll also get a better understanding of how to use them by going to the installation instruction in the boxed-of Info & Guides section of the product page. All the details are there, including images to help you. We hope that this helps.
A: I would suggest using washers that fit the screws you plan to use. They also make corner brackets that you can fasten over the corner of the post and on top of the lattice product when you go to hang it. Hope this helps
A: Yes, KellyCO, you can request to have that cut.
A: I ordered the Lattice. My son picked it up brought it to me. We replaced a broken one on an arbor that we have and now it is all fixed! Worked out wonderfully
A: Kathy, The grid openings are .75 inches.
