A: If this was used to transfer air or fluids how many psi is it rated for? Could it be used on a 300 psi air system?
A: Hi James, I do not understand what you are asking regarding the pressure rating. I have actually never been asked that question. I apologize I am unable to provide a better response. Thank you.
A: Hi Marie, At this time, we do not sell rectangular pipe. Thank you for your inquiry.
A: No, this is one pipe. "Schedule 40" refers to thickness of its walls.
A: No. The Sch. 40 is the type of pipe it is. The pipe is schedule 40. Each piece is sold separately.
A: Hi Jackie, 3/4"IPS pipe has a 1.050"OD and it can be used in many different capacities, however I do not know if it will work with wind chimes. It may but it is not an application I have seen anyone do thus far. I guess the deciding factor is whether the dimensions of this pipe and thickness (schedule 40) will work for your design. Once that is determined, I would say go for it. If you do proceed, please send us pictures of your design once complete to email@example.com. We would love to see the end result. Thank you.
A: Perhaps. the wall thickness is quite significant so not sure that affects sound—it would be heavy. The satin exterior is fully anodized but does mar and scratch. Aluminum is soft metal so not sure how long the surface would hold up to regular dinging.
