The 'Yuletide' Camellia is well-known for its multitudes of huge red blooms that appear in autumn and early winter. Large ruby red blooms with long fantastic golden yellow stamens pop upon the dark evergreen foliage it rests upon. This magnificent shrub also boasts a high drought tolerance, as well as a low maintenance growth habit.
- Bright red blooms with golden yellow stamens from mid fall through winter
- Glossy, dark green evergreen foliage creates wonderful hedge lines
- Reaches a mature height of 8-10 ft. tall and width of 6-8 ft. wide
- Space plants 6-7 ft apart for a dense hedge, space further apart for space between shrubs
- Great as a privacy screen, specimen or at the corner of a house
- Grows well in slightly acidic soil with good drainage
- Grows best in Partial Sun or all-day filtered sun
- Low-maintenance once established

How big does the plant grow?

AnswersMy next door neighbor in Brooklyn, NY had Camellia bushes in his front yard facing South. They did very well and grew to 6' or more with lots of blossoms. As with every shrub I've ever know, cutting back is essential or they get stalky and impossible, I'm speaking from personal experience with a monster Butterfly bush. Good Luck!

Healthy plant full of buds!

I’m really happy with this purchase. The plant arrived very well packaged and looks pristine. The price is very reasonable compared to some other sites I’ve searched. It’s full of buds and about 2ft tall from top of planter. I like it so much I’m planning on getting another one.
