I've been waiting for a humidifier like this! It looks great with a stylish wood grain exterior and blends in better than other humidifiers we have had in the past that stuck out like a sore thumb. It also has a small footprint and fits nicely in tight spaces. The water compartment is very large, easy to fill, and will last us several nights at a time. There is a timer with auto shut off and several fan speeds to choose from. The description says that it will cover 750 sq ft a d it seemed to do the job just fine. I could notice a big difference with the cool moisture running during the night in our very dry climate we live in. Overall I really like and enjoy using this humidifier and the ability to use essential oils is a fantastic plus!

Surprisingly attractive humidifier, will do the job for large spaces. This humidifier is very nice, it has a massive water tank (1.7 gallons) and can humidify a space up to 750sq ft. That's a rather large room. The humidifier has a small profile and takes up vertical space rather than needing a large footprint. It has three buttons (power, humidity set, and timer). The remote control has the same settings and I've had it work up to 20' away.
The power button is multi function, press it once for full power, again for medium, once more for low, and a fourth time to turn it off. The humidity button allows you to set the desired humidity so the unit will run automatically, and the timer allows for four timed settings (1hr, 2hr, 4hr, 8hr).
The unit also comes with an essential oil tray at the bottom and three essential oils (lavender, eucalyptus, and vanilla). Pull the tray out, add a few drops of oil to the pad inside and the unit will provide aroma to the mist.
The mist on this unit is pretty heavy at high speed (see photo) it will project almost 2 ft over the unit. Since this is a cool mist, it will spread, and potentially moisten anything near the unit, so you have to place this somewhere away from furniture, electronics, etc.
Overall this is a great unit for a large space. The fake wood grain is much better looking than I expected and it's probably the most attractive humidifier I've ever owned.

The Pillar truly is a tall yet elegant looking humidifier and essential oil diffuser. with a capacity of 1.7 gallons, it is strong enough to cover larger rooms. i have it installed in my family room with a timer for few hours a day, and i am welcomed each time with pleasant fragrance of the essential oils.
Installation is very simple - just screw in the demineralization cartridge on to the water release port, add some drops of essential oil on the pad through the side tray, fill water to reservoir, plug the cord and it’s ready to go.
The display unit on the base provides multiple customizable options - humidity levels and timer. The remote control is also handy so i don’t need to return to the base unit if i want to change of the options, or turn off/on the unit.
The tank is upright and water is refilled from the top lid. It makes it so much easier to refill without taking the tank out. The system goes in standby mode when water level drops, and a red icon appears on the display panel.
Overall, the unit is tall but sleek that it can stand in one corner of the room without taking much space.

This is a nice humidifier with a good capacity. Living in the desert southwest, I use humidifiers both at home and at work, so I've used a number of different ones. The 2 best stand-out features for me were its capacity and the remote. The tank is big and tall, so you can't just put it in a sink to fill it. You have to use a separate pitcher/bucket or have a faucet with a hose extension. But it's so nice to not have to fill it very often. The remote is nice for when I don't want to have to get up out of bed to turn it on or off.
It puts out a pretty good size stream of cool mist. The humidity level can be adjusted from 25% to 65%. You can set it to run on a timer and it has an indicator light for when the water level is low. There is also a port for adding pads with drops of essential oil and it comes with 3 sample bottles of oils, though I don't use these.
It does make a small humming noise that is about the same as every other unit I've used.
The one small negative I found is that you are not able to dim or turn off the display lights when its running. It's not excessively bright, but that might bother some people using it in their bedroom at night, especially because it has "running lights" that sort of flash while it's operating.

I have two of these. The first one did not work as soon as I attempted to use it the first time. It leaked a gallon of water all over my ceramic floor and flat out would not work. I phoned the toll free support number, late on a Friday afternoon. The person on the help line was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They sent me another unit and it arrived Monday morning. Excellent support. 5 stars. The second unit has been running for a couple of days and it has worked great. The only thing negative I can mention is that the design has the power source at the very bottom of the unit. It makes no noise while running. Cool vapor is ejected through an oval hole on top of the unit. The remote works very nicely . It doesn't spit water and using filtered water, I see no residue build up. I put 12 drops of my favorite oil essence in the compartment for oil essence and the odor was evident for maybe two hours. Pleasant and not overwhelming. Three bottles of different scented oil essence comes within the packaging as well as extra absorbent pads.

I have been purchasing counter top humidifiers, but I always have to move things just to get it in place. This time I opted for this model. Best decision! The unit looks really nice, and at 1.7 gallons, I do not have to refill the water as frequently. It comes with a remote and some essential oils, which is really nice. The humidifier isn't hard to put together, so from box to use in no time.

This is the humidier I've been looking for. Looks great and blends in nicely in my room. So small it fits almost anywhere. So quiet you don't even know it's running. Super easy to fill. Just pop the top piece, fill, plug it in and turn it on. Display is digital and easy to read. Comes with a small remote. Just point and push the buttons to control. Large capacity water resiviour, so it will run for quite awhile before the need to fill again. I'm heading back to pick up another for my bedroom.

I had a older humidifier that this replaced, and boy the look and technology has come a long way. Besides the unit lookin great it fits nicely in tight spots on the floor or bedside table.This cool mist technology feels so much more natural that steam plus its a very powerfull unit and makes a noticeable difference in the feel of the air within the first hour running. I love the adjustable fan auto off to save electricity. The tank is portable to be filled in the bathtub but it doesn't fit in my sink so I find it easier to keep a gallon bottle nearby to fill. It came with 3 essential oil samples that smell great, only a few drops are needed so I would imagine it will last me all winter . Not a big deal but the oil diffuser door is difficult to open.

I am REALLY impressed with the Aircare Pillar 1.7 Gallon Ultrasonic Humidifier. First off all I was expecting this little dinky of a size humidifier, which would of been fine because they work amazingly. But to my sheer delight and surprise the unit stands about 26 inches, it has a light grey wood tone to it that would work well with any decor. The set up was super easy with step by step instructions, and comes with a remote to boot (Sweet) it also comes with three bottles of essential oils that you add to a small pad and place at the bottom of the base on the side (Super Sweet!) Before getting started be sure to remove packing from the top and bottom of the base. It also comes with a adapter, once you remove the packings remove Demineralization Cartridge from styrofoam and snap it onto the water release port. Pictures are included. From there you remove the top and fill up tank up to the red sticker inside unit, and insert the connector on the base, plug it in and you are good to go! Super important I would place the unit in a open space not too close to a wall or electronics due to the mist coming from the top of the unit. It's not that bad, just a small amount of mist comes out, but I would guess over time you may see water marks. So I placed a towel underneath to prevent that from happening in one of my pictures you can actually see the mist coming from the top, also be sure to clean your unit per instructions. Add your Essential oils and enjoy!

WOW, this is a great design. I like the portable water tank for easy refilling & the easy to use remote control. 3 fan speeds and an essential oil diffuser tray for your favorite oil or water based aroma.
