About This Product
Designed with efficiency in mind, the AKDY RH0256 36 in. island mount range hood is a great addition to any kitchen. Its design is both timeless and minimalistic allowing it to fit into a variety of kitchen interiors. Capable of 400 CFM of suction, a powerful motor traps odors lingering in the air through the bottom perimeter to freshen up your kitchen. Three aluminum grease filters help trap airborne grease while cooking. Four banks of LEDs illuminate your cooktop while a backlit touch panel offers controls for lighting, timer, and 4 motor speeds. This range hood is covered by a 3-year limited parts warranty. A carbon filter kit Is included for ductless recirculating installations. (CF0002).

Quality was good for the extremely cheap price. LED backlights don't line up right with the touchscreen. Also it wasn't clear from the pictures and wasn't mentioned in the description that there is a solid metal cover over fan that has to be lowered everytime to be used.

It’s NOT Stainless Steel, lets get that out of the way first, I did not see it in the store or I would have done the magnet test.
A lot of people complained about the instructions, yes they are lacking at best, but with common sense it goes together easy.
The hardware sucks, it all went into the garbage and got replaced, was nothing but cheap Chinese pot metal.
Some of the screw holes were so big the screws just dropped in, very sad.
The display was so cock-eyed a third of it was cut off, sent Home Depot pictures and got $30.00 refunded, then re-mounted the display!
All in all, once installed it looks really good, after all the headaches.

When we unpacked the pieces, the hood had a large dent and several deep scratches which could only have been done before they packed it in styrofoam. So now we are waiting for a new one to come.

This is the 2nd range hood I have had to order. It arrived more damaged than the 1st one I ordered.
I had to pay my contractor several hours overtime to try to fix the 1st one. Both hoods had dents in them when we unpacked them.
I have no idea if there is any quality control at the factory when these items are being shipped out or if the damage happens during shipment.
