AMERICAN GAS LOG's Sand helps to enhance the overall flame pattern by allowing the gas to spread more evenly, thus creating a more realistic flame pattern. Sand is intended to be used in the bottom of the Natural Gas burner to help disburse the flame pattern for added realism. Pairs well with AMERICAN GAS LOG Glowing Embers (sold separately).
