This is a mess.
The fiberglass patch edges fray when trimmed and it only gets worse when you smear epoxy across the patch. I suspect the “almond” is going to look white when it dries. If we weren’t eventually going to gut our bathroom, I’d hire a professional to come in and do this over. It is not pretty.

This is an epoxy based product which arrived in two pouches separated by a seal. The instructions say to push one part of the product into the other end so that both parts are together in one end (just like epoxy) for mixing. I did this. I found mixing the product difficult in that it wasn't obvious to me when it was mixed completely. I then opened a hole in one end, squeezed out some of the product to fill a hole in my fiberglass tub. I smoothed it on, and found that it didn't harden as expected (probably a problem on my part as a result of not having proper mixing). It also wasn't as opaque as I expected, so the hole still showed through. This was not a very thick coating, but it was all the depth I had to work with.
