Questions & Answers
Is Verge 30 MIL an LVP, WPC or SPC product? Does it require the 6 mil poly underlayment? I plan to install on a plywood subfloor that is over a ventilated dirt crawl space.

can you do a glue down installation on this? if so what glue is recommended for commercial use?
Hi James, We do not recommend a complete glue down, but you can spot glue if it is needed. You can use any vinyl flooring adhesive, there is not a specific adhesive that is required. Regards, Aspen Flooring Team
What’s the composite of this floor. I know it’s an LVP but is it a stone polymer (SPC)?
Hi IanC, This product is polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
Hi, the product description says it has an attached underlayment but then it says you need a 6 mil poly underlayment. Can you explain?
Hi Denise, We require this for added protection against moisture. Our floors are waterproof, but the 6 mil poly ensures there is no moisture trapped between the subfloor and the flooring itself.
Is this suitable for commercial use, such as a restaurant/bar flooring?
Hi Alee, Yes this flooring is commercially rated and extremely durable.
Can I install the Highland 30 MIL flooring in a laundry room with an existing floor drain?
Hi GeorgeK, Yes this can be used in a Laundry room, it is a waterproof floor. We do advise you use a 6 mil poly underlayment to prevent moisture build-up underneath the flooring.
Where is the Prospect 30 mil LVP made? What is used on the mil layer? Aluminum oxide? Is the attached pad rubber or cork? Is an additional underlayment required? Is the Prospect part of the HD series? Thank you.
Hi Forestpark, This product is made in Vietnam. The MIL layer, this is a special durable vinyl coating that is fused with the core board to protect the surface and provide excellent durability. It has an attached rubber pad. It is not part of the HD series and does require a 6mil poly underlayment.
