Hello Tim, Yes, the bracket can be removed. The hole pattern on the cabinet part of the slide would allow for a bottom mount. Thanks. Customer care team.

I would say no. The Bearing track, in my opinion, is not designed for top down weight.

Hello. Drawer slide is for Drawers that are in between 20 5/8 to 22 ½ inches deep. The slide itself is 22 7/8 inches long. This specific drawer slide is a bottom mount side, meaning that it is installed under the drawer box. The minimum cabinet depth is 23 inches. This slide is made to be installed on a face frame cabinet. There is a rear bracket that permits depth adjustment. I hope it helps. Best Regards Customer Care Team

Most likely they can. However, some things to consider: The thickness of the drawer bottom (pressboard won't work, needs to be wood). I had to add a layer of thin plywood (3/8") to my cabinet drawers to allow screwing the metal rail to the base of the drawer. I cut a sheet the same size as the drawer base and added it to the inside and glued it into place. That metal rail will replace the plastic guides and will screw in from underneath (in my case screws went through the pressboard base into the solid plywood layer inside the drawer). The wooden bottom rail will needs to be removed and replaced with the complementary metal rail that the drawer bottom rail slides into. Also, make sure you measure the depth your drawer and the distance that your front frame sits from the back of the cabinet/dresser. The support bracket will need to be screwed into something substantial on the back of the dresser/cabinet (not press board without some reinforcement). Depending on what type of drawer front you have, the mounting on the front frame needs to be correct (flush). Suggest looking at some YouTube videos on how to install center mount drawer slide guides. Some installations will go easier than others.

Yes, I used them for side support pantry slideouts. Four per slideout and they support easily 75 pounds or more.

Bounce. Bounce. Bounce in the... house.
Installed eight of these in a clients rental property and they ark when the drawer is extended 12 " (half way out or further) creating a bounce. I would highly recommend installing these with a 1x3 under the slide and attaching with three small screws per side the extra five dollars will greatly improved the support and lifespan.

Richelieu 20-5/8 in. to 22-1/2 in. Accuride Center Mount Drawer Slide - I like these drawer mounts. I've used them before. I use these longer slides on drawers under a standard depth kitchen counter. This requires drilling a hole in the part of the slide that is screwed to the bottom of the drawer (which surely voids the warranty), but I then have a drawer that, when opened, has an almost 100% extension from under the counter. When fully extended the drawer sags a bit, which does put a stress on the mount, but they are well enough made drawer slides that they will last more years than I can remember before having to be replaced. I find the additional extension length worth it.

This slide worked for what I needed, but there is no way to attach the rear of the slide to the drawer so the drawer bounces/see-saws when you pull it out. There needs to be a hole in the back of the slide to attach it to the back of the drawer. I could have drilled one in, but this is an obvious design flaw.
