Yes it does, but you have to hold onto the button to keep it off. However I do not recommend because the pressure would be really low compared to a shower head

what is the IPS on the connector/thread size. I ordered one of these and it came to me as 1.8. GPM (IPS 1/2") when instead I need 2.2 GPM (IPS 3/4")... the only difference I know of is the thread size.

Due to water regulations we no longer offer this part at 2.2 gpm, however the connection size would've been exactly the same.
