Answer This Question

A:  Use a landscaping nail or fastener

by|Jun 25, 2021

A:  No need for spikes. It grips to the ground or you can nail it down to have it extra secure.

by|May 18, 2021

A:  We sell gutter spikes which secure the gutter to house but they can be used to secure the splash block to the ground. Also i seen people buy small pieces of rebar to drive into ground to hold down.

    by|Jan 23, 2021

A:  Because they’re trying to save you money. If you price the spikes…they make their product MUCH more expensive than those that come with the spikes.

      by|Sep 3, 2022

A:  You can use edging stakes, there are many brands and styles to choose from on Home Depot’s web site.

A:  No. It is not worth the money. Hit with a mower or trimmer and it cracks. Spend the money on concrete splash guards.

The corner of my garage is sunken in due to decades of water pooling from the downspout installed by previous owner. These splash blocks have been working perfectly to divert water further away from the corner of the garage. I used a level to make sure there was a downward gradient so the water flowed from high to low and placed bricks underneath to secure the splash block position. I really like the ridges that prevent water and debris from flowing back up the splash block. I have no complaints so far. It worked flawlessly last week during the heavy rain in LA.

              Good product. Does the job.
Good product. We keep destroying this by driving the car on the edge of the product. Because it’s partially in our driveway. It would be more useful if they make it little longer like 8-10 inch longer than it’s current design

While these do have a hole to stake them down, they do not come with stakes, and the hole is only on the 'out' end, which makes me think it could pivot if things get wild.

              Works Well
This color blends in well with the front of the house. The indentation at the narrow end makes it easier to place under downspouts.
