This 4 in. x 12 ft. pipe has spaced slits that allow water to drain in stages. The drain pipe is ideal for groundwater drainage like French drains or for dispersing water from flower beds. FLEX-Drain helps you get the job done faster and easier with professional-grade polypropylene construction for impressive durability. Additionally, an easy-to-transport design and seamless extrusion technology make the FLEX-Drain more versatile than a traditional corrugated pipe. Flexible and expandable, FLEX-Drain easily bends around any obstacle. The FLEX-Drain holds its shape during installation and with a simple snap, its integrated fittings lock securely and stay connected during backfilling. With the FLEX-Drain, taping joints is unnecessary adding to the convenience of the product. More than just pipe, FLEX-Drain is a complete drainage solution system that's widely compatible with virtually all traditional 3 in. and 4 in. corrugated pipes and 4 in. PVC. Technologically superior, the FLEX-Drain is made with no-break copolymers and exceeds all applicable ASTM crush standards.

A:  Everything I read in the item description asserts that this will perform as good or better than traditional corrugated 4in. drain. As commonly as I've seen the traditional stuff used in retaining wall drainage with gravel, this should perform fine.

      A:  I would not. Radon mitigation requires removing the affected air from the crawl space. The two times I have paid for a Radon mitigation system to be installed, they have always used enclosed pipe.

          A Quick and easy drain solution.
          The quick and easy way to install a drainage system. It's easiest with two people to stretch it out with one on each end and pull to expand the pipe. The nice thing about this flexable pipe is it lays in the ditch even if the ditch is not straight, un-like 10' long sections of solid pipe. The pipe has small holes in it all along the way so water can leach into the ground along the leingth of the pipe.
