A: Any household paint intended for interior walls will work fine.
A: If you have a bunny surface, first you should flatten it with plaster. Then pre-paper the whole wall. Then the wallpaper goes over that (if you want it to look professional).
A: Thank you for reaching out to us. No this does not have to be painted, you could leave it as is. And as long as the bathroom is well ventilated and installed properly, you will have no issues. If you have any other questions, please let us know!
A: I haven't had it up very long so I cannot answer right now. I do turn on the exhaust fan and I usually get the door open right after a hot shower.
A: I am not a professional wallpaper hanger but in my opinion.. yes.. it’s just a bit heavier than standard wallpaper but we didn’t have any problem hanging it on the walls. We have really enjoyed this look and it did a pretty good job of hiding the imperfections of the wall. Should look lovely on a ceiling.
A: Yes – wallpaper can be a great way to cover up dated wood paneling and/or renew the look of a room. However, you will need to prepare the paneled walls first. The grooves need to be filled in with caulk. If the grooves are deeper than ¼” you may need to hang a wallpaper liner vertically before hanging your wallpaper. The paneling should also be primed with a stain-blocking latex primer before hanging your wallpaper.
A: Yes. Be sure to seal the paint with Kilz and let set 24 hrs. Then hang as if going onto sheet rock. Do you wish to see the recesses, if not, float them out smooth. Do not sand, use damp sponge to smooth edges, it is less to clean up. I have installed and painted this many times, always looks great. Whenyou paint, use several thin layers of paint.
