2-5 in. x 24 in. Steel Power Mixer with Adjust Wheels

I have never had good luck mixing paint with a single paddle mixing tool. What I like with this one is the paddle is adjustable and there are two paddles on the rod. It does take a good drill to use the paddle mixer, only because it mixes so well. It is easy to clean as long as the paint does not dry in the paddles. I have not tried it to mix drywall mud or stucco.

I've owned a number of drill-powered mixers over the years and found them to be a real time and labor saver when mixing thick materials such as drywall mud. This Anvil 24 inch steel power mixer is a very nice product. It's well-made and heavy-duty, which allows it to stand up well to dense material without damage. In operation, it is very aggressive and mixes most materials quickly and effectively. The adjustable mixing wheels are a nice touch, making the tool more adaptable to your mixing conditions. Thinner materials often require only one wheel, but as both wheels on this tool are removable that isn't an issue. My first use of this tool was to mix 5 gallons of asphalt sealer, always a nasty job. With both wheels in place I found the mixing action to be a bit too aggressive even at a slow rpm. Removal of one wheel solved this problem (see video) and the sealer was mixed easily. Clean up is a snap - just run the mixer in a bucket of clean water or spray it clean with a hose. I am impressed with this tool and highly recommend it!

This will mix anything. Probably not effective on concrete but any thick liquid. Heavy latex paint is easy. Thinner paints too. Adjustable wheels make easy work of gallon cans and 5 gallon buckets equally. Drywall mud is probably as thick as usable. Removable wheels make it easy to clean. Adjustments make 5 gallon or 1 gallon mixing easy. The mixer is heavy duty.

OK, it says heavy duty and it is! This mixer is obviously for 5 gal paint or other things. However, I had hoped it would work on my wife's trash can composting. Well, as you can see in the attached photo, it works and she is delighted. Before she was trying to turn over the compost using had tools. How she has this mixer and my drill. She likes the adjustment so she can mix at different levels until she finds the optimum combination. I'm sure it works is paints as well as heaver glues, asphalts, etc.
