                A:  Braided. It can twist up annoyingly if unwound from the spool off the end of the tube instead of unspooled like it was wound on from the factory.

                              First time using a line level and mason line to level the ground for a pool. This stuff is really strong! I had to pull the line until very tight between 2 stakes that were 26’ apart. It seems unbreakable! This mason line would also be great for anything requiring high strength string. The bright orange color I chose made the line very easy to see as well.
