I have the cheaper 10 gallon tub. 60 lb cement and water fits if your not too aggressive mixing. Probably 14 gallon is safer doing several mixes

This is a really roughly molded plastic tub. It’s like the manufacturer pulled it too hot from the mold and it sagged out of shape. If you are using it for concrete washout or dog washing it will be fine. If used for anything else it will likely disappoint you.

I questioned whether I should rate this purchased product as we did not buy it for its intended use. We bought it as a pool for our Labrador who is continuously looking for water to lay down in and who kept destroying the flimsy little blue kiddie pools we bought her. This is sturdy enough that it doesn't break or crack when I dump the water out or she jumps in and flops down against the sides. It is also deep enough for her to get a nice cooling soak. Funny thing, when I went to pick this up at Home Depot, after ordering it online, the customer service lady who was waiting on me said, "That's a good tub. We bought one for our Lab to use as a pool." I told her that was exactly what I had ordered it for, too. We then had a good laugh about Labradors and their love of the water and the mess a soaking wet Lab makes suddenly running into your house. So...I would definitely recommend this as a great, little Labrador pool if you need one. As for mixing cement in it I would think it is a great size and sturdy enough for a DIYer who doesn't mix large quantities of cement on a regular basis.

Exactly what I wanted to mix concrete for footers instead of renting a mixer. It saves on lifting 80lb bags into the mixer. Takes longer working by myself. Reuse for washing the dog.

I bought this for a dog shelter. We deep clean and dip our crates and pens in bleach and they fit perfectly in this tub. We had an old one that sprung a few leaks so I found this as a replacement.

The "Right" Size
The "medium" Argee mixing tub (RG176, 32x21x9.5", 14 gallon) does not have the same "build quality" as the comparable Plasgad product (PNS7515, 28x20x6", 9.25 gallon), indeed seems rather flimsier, and is more expensive. But I needed something slightly larger than the Plasgad "medium" for my application (aquaponics), the Argee model is widely available and is the perfect size (essentially halfway between the "medium" and "large" Plasgad sizes). No complaints. I would not hesitate to purchase more if I needed them.
