May as well just stock these in a recycling bin
All four of the traps I got were leaky to a degree that all the bait dripped out within 6 hours. A lot of insects died on the ground where the bait dripped but not a single wasp or yellow jacket wound up in the traps. Worse than useless because now I have a patio to scrub down.
They're cheap enough that they don't really warrant me trying to go back and return them. A defect in one is understandable but four is unacceptable. Don't waste your time or get your hopes up, they don't work.

Leaked
disappointed. they all leaked from the bottom. very poor construction of the trap. I'm returning them.

Highly Recommend
Bought two hung one on the mailbox and the other in a tree in the back yard. Used Mountain Dew in the trap. Nothing in the traps for first few days. Moved trap from mailbox to tree in front yard. Forth through seventh day both traps were full of wasps and yellow jackets. Now we can enjoy being outside again. Love this product, I bought extras in case I break one. Suzi in INDIANA

Worst product bought at Home Depot
This is absolutely the poorest quality product I have purchased from Home Depot. The trap is two pieces of plastic snapped together, no sealant. They leak where the two pieces snap together. The first one I put up leaked. The second one I put up not only leaked but had a crack that made it worse. When they leak, the solution goes all over the ground and attracts wasps to where you're at! There is only about 1/2" of height to put the solution into before it comes out of the holes. Taking it back for my money back.

EVERY ONE OF THESE LEAKED ! I followed instructions and when I hung them up they leaked.

Best Trap for Families!
This product does the most amazing job! Having two children and one adult with life threatening bee allergies, we needed something of good quality but non-invasive to our backyard to that would not disturb our dogs.
The product is almost too easy to fill and set up. The directions are simple; we chose to use fresh sausage and the bees here in the south favored it so much, we caught about 100 wasps and 75 bees over three months of usage! We emptied and cleaned it each week to keep it sanitary (Papa did the body count) and it stored beautifully during the winter months.
I now have six of these wonderful products from front yard to back and never worry about enjoying the great outdoors.

More effective at catching bees
Due to a severe yellow jacket infestation around my house, I purchased a half dozen of these re-usable traps. In a few weeks, they proved effective at catching insects, but unfortunately captured more bees than yellow jackets. Given the alarming decline of honeybees, the last thing I want to do is contribute to their demise.
There are better products on the market that target yellow jackets by using pheromone scents that will draw them (but not bees) into the trap. I recommend using those products instead.

Fantastic trap
I have tried the other wasp traps and had little or no success. I attracted more wasps with my hummingbird feeders. I bought this product about six years ago after trying all the others. I was very skeptical at first but within ten minutes of hanging it up, it trapped eight yellow jackets. I really like the fact is that you don't have to buy any attractants to get it to work. Using some apple juice filled about a inch deep and that's it. I do recommend you try to keep it away from a high human traffic area because the trap does get a lot of activity around it. It also catches a lot of flies so this trap can be used for that also. Make sure you change liquid about once a week to keep it effective working. Also it will catch bald faced hornets.
