Unfortunately it was a light gray color- not at all...
Unfortunately it was a light gray color- not at all charcoal gray. I truly think it was the wrong set even those numbers matched up. The pillows were different too.Returned it.

This only got 4 stars due to the color, it has a Olive like tint to it instead of grey like the picture. But other than that it’s perfect, weight isn’t too heavy or light. Plenty of fluff and shipped pretty fast.

I'm very happy with this comforter set. It is beautiful on my bed. I have a queen size pillow top mattress. In other brands of comforters, I've always purchased a queen size. They were always too small. If I pulled the comforter down to meet the bed skirt, the comforter was way too short on the other side of the bed. I ordered a king size in this comforter, and it absolutely covers everything, including the bed skirt, on both sides! I like that look. I may have been able to get by with a queen, though. So Avondale Manor definitely is true to size. It had an odd smell when it came out of the plastic bag, but that quickly dissipated. It was packaged well, and arrived quickly. It doesn't seem to wrinkle any more than any other comforters that I've owned. I'm not wild about the chevron side of the comforter, but I absolutely love the white side. Unfortunately, this comforter apparently cannot be washed or dry cleaned. The tags all state spot clean only. That could be a problem with a white comforter. Time will tell. After owning it for just a few weeks, that's the only drawback that I've found. I found the price to be really reasonable in comparison to other comforter sets. I'm glad I purchased this brand, and will look for this brand the next time that I'm wanting to purchase a new comforter.
