I hope it works
I watched a few clips and followed instructions before I painted the tub. It's not that easy to dry the tub & tiles area completely. I also had an issue with the powder mix ( cleaning solution ) I couldn't make a paste !! I mixed it with warm water but it was still look like water not a paste. I also think the liquid primer was not enough to rub the entitle bath. So let's just hope it works and last for decade not failing.

    Very pleased
Used on my shower tiles and 2 bathroom sinks. Took 2 kits to get good coverage over the green textured tiles. Looks great! Smells pretty bad even through my ventilator mask.

Massive waste of time and money
This stuff smells to high heaven. Then within a week or two was already peeling. My tenants didn't say anything until the peeled paint clogged the tub drain. I just paid to have it professionally refinished. Don't water your time or money.

Lot of prep work for a successful result
I was preparing the tub for 3 days. I used Clorox as the first step to removing existing paint in addition to their instructions. Don't forget to use gloves when using the 'tack' cloth. It's pretty oily and doesn't come off easily. I had left the dehumidifier on all the time (5 days) to maintain humidity at 35% and temp at 70°. The odor is quite strong and needs the area to be well ventilated.

        Product easily damaged by tape
Followed the instructions to the letter, even sanding an extra time for insurance. painting went well, covered the pink wall tile easily and only had a few drips (lots of ledges and corners). Let it dry for 3 days (instructions say 24 hours) and put blue painters on the paint and regular masking tape on the tub rim to caulk the seams. After 15 minutes started removing the tape and sections of the paint adhered to the tape and pulled off the wall. According to bathworks there is no warranty on the product and the product should never wear out. But they told me there was a touch up kit I could buy to repaint the damaged areas. Why do they sell a touch up kit if the product does not wear out. If you are going to caulk the seams beware that blue painters tape may cause a problem and maybe you should use the extra sensitive yellow or purple tape. I'm not good enough to get a great caulking bead without tape.

          Not Forgiving
It was a lot of hard work. It looked OK, but then it sagged in several areas. It looks awful! It takes a long time for the toxic fumes to dissipate. This was an expensive mistake, and now I will need to get the tub/shower replaced.

            It is not easy !
I was trying to paint the shower fiberglass pan. I'm pretty experienced painter & I'm very handy , but the whole process was very long & tedious. I had a crack in the shower floor & had to fix it . It was a lot of cleaning , scrubbing ,sanding & cleaning again. I had to wait in between the all steps & it took me 3 days to finish painting ! Now I have to wait another 24 hours to dry! It turned out good so far ... I will take another picture after it is dry & after I'm done calking . Of course, it is more economical then to hire somebody else to do it , but ( because of a pandemic) I couldn't find nobody to refinish my shower ! I was planning to refinish another bathroom tub, but I guess I will have to do some good old scrubbing for now...

              Not a Quick Project
Definitely a very time consuming project. Took my husband about 4 hours of prep and cleaning and then probably another 2 for painting. The directions were clear, it just took forever. The end result turned out good...definitley looks like painted tile though. I didn’t realize how much the grout and colored tiles hid the imperfections of the how the tile was originally installed. The white epoxy now hides no flaws. Our tiles were very small, so it took a lot of tedious time going through to make sure all the grout was painted. Our shower walls took 2 boxes of this stuff, and we used every bit of it. It took a full 2 days for the epoxy to dry and not be tacky. Im not sure if i would ever do this project again for a shower like mine, but i could see doing it for a smaller shower with larger tiles. Would recommend for that, just know its not ever going to look perfect.

                Self levels beautifully
I was nervous about refinishing my tub with no experience, but this product made the process quite easy. Follow the directions to the letter, watch the videos, and go for it. Watch for drips as you go and make sure to reload the roller with paint often. It’s pretty forgiving to work with levels to a beautiful shine. A respirator is a MUST as fumes are so strong it slightly burned my eyes while working, and entire house smelled afterward. We shall see how it holds up over time!
