I was impressed with how smooth this stain went on. I applied it with a Stanley Opti-spray, and though I had to thin it about 25%, it covered really well. I also did detail areas with a paint brush and it was very easy to apply. It is much thinner than paint, but is a solid color. I have a deck that is 10ft x 16ft and also a large kids Playhouse. I was able to paint both with the 5 gallon bucket, covered in one coat. I did end up buying an additional gallon just to finish up the project and have a little extra for touch ups.

This stain seemed to apply well for me and coverage was pretty nice. I actually thinned it down so I got about 6 gallons out of the bucket. I had to thin it down because I was using the Wagner Opti-stain spray gun. The color was nice and it mixed up easily. Was able to stain a large Playhouse and my 200 sq ft deck with this.
Of course all I can comment on is the application and the color. I am not able to comment on the main issue with stains and that is longevity. I hope this works better that Sherwin Williams Super Deck stain we had previously, because to keep that looking good you have to apply it every season. Plus it is very expensive.. Not very super in my opinion.
