Q:Can this masonry paint be used over lime plaster and is it breatheable?
by|May 17, 2024
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Hi Paig, thanks for the question. You can use our Masonry, Stucco, & Brick Paint over lime plaster, but you would need to prime the surface first with our Interior/Exterior Multi-Surface Stain-Blocking Primer & Sealer. Also both the primer and the paint are breathable. Have a great day! -Ronald

Q:Can I use this paint on exterior barn/ shed?

    Answer This Question

A:  Hi John, thanks for your question. Since barns and sheds are typically made of wood, we do not recommend using our Masonry, Stucco & Brick Paint. However, if your barn/shed is a concrete or masonry surface, then you can use this paint. Hope this helps! -Christina

      Answer This Question

A:  Hi Toni, thank you for your question. Although I don't see Dover White in our current color collection, the Interior/Exterior Masonry, Stucco, and Brick Paint can be tinted or custom color matched to your desired color, including Antique White 23. Have a great day! - Randy

I had some masonry yard figurines that had gotten worn and weathered. I used the Behr masonry paint on them and they look great.

Used to paint brick around fireplace. Surface and grout joints were rough and porous. Took 3 coats but was not fault of product. Paint was thick enough , had no runs and held on to brush and roller well.

          Beautiful Masonry Paint
The bluest gray masonry paint spread evenly throughout my sidewalk. It is a thick, shiny and beautiful appearance. Couldn’t ask for a better paint and color.

Better than I expected. Color Stonewashed Brown
I was stuck on the idea of buying semi-gloss paint for my project. The I saw this BERH flat paint for a third of the cost of the paint I was set on buying elsewhere. I used a Graco Project Pro sprayer on my split faced block. The results really surprised me. A contractor quoted me $2100 to paint this 80-foot wall. Since that quote, I've spent about $250 for 10 two 5-gallon buckets of BEHR Masonry, Stucco & Brick Paint. I already had the sprayer even before the contractor's quote.

                Nice color
Little expensive but easy to apply and color change depending of light with a particular tonality.
