        A:  Hi there, thanks for the question. Yes, you can paint over an existing paint with our Porch and Patio Floor Paint. You would want to remove any of the existing paint that's peeling. Also, if the surface is glossy, you would want to scuff-sand it first to increase the adhesion of the Porch & Patio Paint. Have a great day! -Ronald

          Bought for our deck project, did not disappoint
          We used this for the floor and the top railing around the porch and the steps leading up. The project turned out beautifully!

            I like it but
            I used this paint for my basement concrete floor. Any sliding movement of things will scratch the paint. I put 3 coats of paint on it now total because it kept scratching when moving things around. Now that im done moving things, I hit the 3rd coat. It looks great, im just worried about it scratching. Is there any clear protective coat I can put on the floor for protection?

                Chipped up in only two days
                [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Applied with etching primary as directed,and waited more than suggested time spans before proceeding. Waited two days to put car in carport,and first time doing so,paint balled up. See pics.

                Hi there, thank you for reviewing our paint. I’m sorry that the Porch & Patio Floor Paint has started to peel up. Actually, the Porch & Patio Floor Paint isn’t designed to be driven on. Also, it takes approximately 30 days for the paint to completely cure and reach its full hardness. To fix the issue, I recommend removing the loose coating, Priming with our Concrete & Masonry Bonding Primer, and repainting over the area with a coating that can be driven on such as our Concrete & Garage 1-Part Epoxy. I’ve also reached out to you via email to learn more about your project and assist you with this further.
