A Great Pain
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought this paint to paint all the trim in my home. Went on great, looks great, and washes easily with soap and water to remove any dirt or dust.

    The best paint
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this on my kitchen cabinets. Self levels perfectly and goes on very easy. It’s been 4 months and no knicks or scratches. Love this paint.

Best Paint for Railings and Trim
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paint went on smooth and left very little brush marks. I used it on stair hand railings and base board trim. I used a sprayer on the difficult spindles and used a brush on flat surfaces. I had to use a 1-2-3 primer to paint over the stained hardwood railings. Found a Behr color that worked with our new flooring.

          Beautiful finish on trim
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I completed a TON of repainting in the house. I used this on trim in all the rooms and on a desk that I stained on top and painted the legs and drawers/cabinets. It went on beautifully and dried just as nicely. I would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to paint a banquette dining bench we built. It was the perfect paint for that. It dried nicely, and is very easy to clean smudges and stains off

Do not recommend - for average painter
I have no idea if professionals would have the problems I have- but this has been the worst painting experiences of my 45 yrs of average home owner painting. This paint is runny thin, smears on and I'm currently on coat 3 and will have to do at the very least a 4th coat. I am painting an outside door. I primed as directed with 2 coats. This paint is taking 24 hours to dry.. and its still tacky. I've sanded in between coats as directed as well. I cant believe how this just smears on, how it is sticky and doesnt seem to dry well and most of all how many coats its taking. ( I may be using the wrong terms here- but just fair warning.. If you're just an average or above average home painter--- run away from this product.

Response from Doris, Behr Customer CareJun 15, 2021
                    Hi PZale,

Thank you for reviewing Behr Urethane Alkyd Semi-Gloss Enamel. I'm very sorry to hear about the issues you've experienced, as it's not typical for the paint to perform like that. I understand how disappointing this must be, and I want to help.

A small test area can be cleaned with warm soapy water (dish soap is okay) to help remove the tacky top layer. If that helps, you can proceed with cleaning the rest of the surface. In the worst-case scenario where the paint doesn't dry after a month's dry time, the surface should be stripped, cleaned, and recoated.

I emailed you directly to follow up and I look forward to assisting you.

                    Kindest regards,

                    Doris
