Poor quality
I took out all old paint on my porch as it looked so old. So, I grinded all old paints and double coated with this paint with proper procedures. At first glance, it looked great and I was happy with the result in this fall. However, when the temperature dropped below zero and snow freeze and thaw, the paint on each step has started peeling really quick less than 3months. I am so regretful that I chose this premium paint.

Hi John, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that the paint peeled off so quickly. This is not normal, and I understand your disappointment. I recommend removing all the loose coating, cleaning (etching bare concrete) and priming the surface, before touching up or recoating. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. Please reach out to us directly if you need further assistance; our customer care team is happy to help you! -Giovanna Behr

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the paint to work with number one, it washes off so easily and the result is really beautiful on my garage floor that people noticed and commented when they saw it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are pretty happy with this product. We used it to paint our lanai floor. It holds up well in the weather, however we have noticed chipping after placing a ladder or other items on the floor. Otherwise it’s been a solid product.

              Paint Finishes Basement Remodel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Undertook a full remodel of the basement: new walls, ceiling, and finish molding. What was missing was updating the battleship grey concrete floor. Never having painted a concrete floor before, I was a little skeptical of how the paint would perform. The paint covered beautifully in one coat and no defects or variations in the color. Now, we have a clean, consistent Bitter Sage green floor on which to set the rugs.

                Basement floor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I painted my basement floor with three shades of Behr paint. I made it look like stained concrete. It has held up very well. I am pleased with the results.

                  Flawless!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely impressed with the Behr Porch and Patio Floor Paint. First, the price is very reasonable for how great this product is. It exceeded my expectations. Secondly, this coats so the surface very well. It is thick, very minimal dripping and covered without needing a second coat. I used this on a porch that was part cement and the other half wood, it coated both materials evenly and they look great. Lastly, I used this on a garage floor with minimal prep and it coated everything, even some old paint stains and older oil stains. Wow!

                    peeling off already
Been a big proponent and user of Behr paint Products over the years so when I descided to paint my 30 year old garage floor, I thought Behr would be the way to go instead of expensive epoxy products since I never had or use the garage for parking a vehicle. I cleared out the garage, complete the prep work, scraped the floor, sanded the complete floor with 60 grit orbital sand paper, wire brushed the floor, pressured washed the floor, blew out all the debris and water, let the floor dry for three days and after I stirred the paint with a drill for 5 minutes, I edged the perimeter of the floor, I then poured the can of paint into a roller pan, and at that point I maybe should have stopped because two thick blobs of paint came out of the can....I rolled the floor, let dry for five hours and re-applied a second coat, let dry for two days and it looked great, but now three weeks later, anytime you place a chair, a table saw feet or if you spill a little water on it for an hour or so, the paint comes right off....Very dissappointed in this Behr product, I think the globs of paint in the can was the warning sign.... like I said, over the last 30 years, I've used Behr paint products 2 dozen times without any issues....I wouldn't reccomend this for a garage floor or a porch area....

Hi Deke, thank you for your review. I'm very sorry to hear the Porch and Patio Paint has peeled up from your garage floor, and there were clumps in the container. I can understand how frustrating this must be. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your feedback. Our Customer Care team is on standby and ready to help. Please contact us so we can assist. To fix the issue, I recommend removing any loose coating by scraping or sanding, spot etching the bare concrete, and then priming with our Concrete Masonry Bonding Primer No. 880. before touching up with more Porch and Patio Paint. If needed, apply a thin coat to the entire surface for uniformity. Again, our Customer Care team would like to hear from you to see how we can help. Have a great day! - Randy Behr
