    We use 2 products Clorox wipes for quick cleaning or scrubbing bubbles. We had 10 year old seats and there were somewhat stained from years of use, we got replacements for real cheap now they are looking brand new again.

    Lisa, Bone is a very popular alternative for white in bathrooms. It is a step darker than biscuit and reminds you of a classic pair of neutral pumps. Its rich color gives nice depth to your bathroom fixtures. Almond. Its color is as wonderful as its flavor. Opposite of the rich brown exterior, the inside of an almond is a beautiful off-white.     One problem with mine. Can't clean with anything but soapy water. Color comes out on the bottom of the toilet seat.

    Is this a soft close toilet? If not, does Bemis make a similar one, but with soft close?

    The seat is good quality, but the color is not the same as the original. I ordered the color of blue on our building papers but this is a brighter blue. I can live with it. It did not come with instructions, but I knew how to put it on. Don't over tighten the plastic bolts. I snapped one off. The hardware store I went to did not have the style I needed, but the sales associate went to the back and found me one, no charge, from when they changed their display.

    Comfortable and Sturdy! I highly recommend this toilet seat if you are looking for one. I was able to get a perfect color match. The quality is sturdy and excellent. VERY smart design, which totally changes how the seat is: 1. Installed 2. Removed 3. Cleaned With other products, you place the seat in place, then install the screws into the bolt, which is underneath. With this product, you do not first place the seat on the toilet. You first install the screw into the bolt. THEN, you place the seat on top of the lugs on the screws, so that you can always just completely take the seat off for future cleaning, without having to remove the screws, Very smart. And, the bolt stays in place when you're screwing the screw into the bolt, by having a wing on the bolt that keeps the bolt in place so you don't have to hold it with your other hand. Good sturdy wood, nice design, nice weight to it. Highly recommend!!

    I bought this new Bemis fawn beige toilet seat to replace an old Bemis installed about 20 years ago along with several others before that. I was a little worried about the color matching because the toilet is an American Standard from the 1960’s and the color has since been discontinued. To my surprise, the fawn beige color matches perfectly with the porcelain toilet, even better than the old seat. The toilet just recently went through an overhaul with a new flange and wax ring, along with the new seat, so I hope it lasts many more years. The new installation method was so simple; install the bolts on the toilet, untwist the hinges on the seat, place it down on the bolts, and twist the hinges to the locked position. I will definitely purchase another seat to keep as a backup.
