Q:The seat I have now is a Bemis sku#1001262676 in bone with 47cm and 18.5 length. But Home Depot?s site for the same seat is showing a length of 18.8. Have the dimensions changed? I?m concerned the seat may be too long. Thank you.

Great Alternative to the name brand
Being our toilets are Kolher, that's usually what I replace them with white round wood, but I couldn't justify spending $45 each. I found a similar Bemis toilet seat, it had excellent reviews. This is the first time I bought Bemis, I replaced all 3 in our house, I bought all 3 for $60/plus tax. My family likes them.

Lift Off latch lifts off TOO easily
The ONLY complaint I have with the seat is about how easily one of the latches lifts off the seat. The "easy lift off" is able to do this because the latches simply slip over the screw head that's in toilet base. There are plastic teeth that hold it place.
As you lean to wipe, this puts more pressure on one of the latches and it constantly pulls off over 4-5 users. I'm replacing with one that holds down more securely.

Toilet seat broke after first use. I’m 165lbs so there wasn’t excessive strain. Very disappointed.
