The BESSEY WS-1 light duty 90 degree angle clamp will allow one to do miters and butt joints and will leave the joint fully exposed for correction, doweling, gluing or nailing. The BESSEY WS-1 miter clamp has independently adjustable spindles to allow one to join work Piece of different widths.

        A:  Yes. This is not the tool for pocket hole work. Too many protruding parts, with limeted room for drilling.

                A:  I don't see a problem with it so long as you aren't expecting the clamp to hold the joist up in the air, it's much more light duty that than but it'll hold it together.

                A:  I doubt they are big enough to hold the joist. Kreg has a right angle clamp that should work well. They are designed with pocket hole construction as well.

                A:  Depends on the size. It can open wide enough for a 2x4 truss, but not big enough for a 2x6 floor joist.

                  A:  It'll clamp on anything that is less than 3". If the surface may scratch, may want to add some electrical tape on clamps as they are metal. The red side is smooth but the black side has a bit of a texture so if you are clamping down hard, it may have a little damage. The texture isn't hard but it is there.

                    A:  Yes, as long as it has a right angle and there is a flat surface. If there is a border around the glass, you may have an issue. However, I do not think you should have a problem.

                        works good enough for me
                        my projects are simple enough with butt jointing mostly 2 x 4 material. I am happy this will make my life a bit easier and it wasn’t overly expensive. All metal construction. For me, it should be a useful gadget.

                            For small jobs, especially with 1" or thinner stock, this is perfect. I built a small learning tower for my daughter using this and it made the joints so much better than they would have been without it. I only wish it was made in the US but hey, it worked.

                              Great, effective, and affordable. They're made of a sturdy and heavy metal, and will likely last you a very long time. Bought to keep the corners square when making picture frames. One thing to keep in mind is these won't fit anything bigger than 3" thick, so your application would be narrow compared to some other products. However, they're way cheaper than most others, so there's that!

                                Kinda clunky
                                I grabbed these to help aid in box and drawer building but I think blue tape may be better? The build quality is fine but they are a bit clunky to use and if you need to use them on the bottom of your project you have to elevate it so you can turn the handle. I feel like a name like Bessy should have something better even at this price point and function.
