Does it match close in color to antique brass?

I was a little skeptical based on the varied reviews, but this is real brass and it is oil rubbed...
I was a little skeptical based on the varied reviews, but this is real brass and it is oil rubbed bronze. The finish will come off on your fingers when you remove it from the package. You need to rub it out a little with a cloth or shop towel to see the patina. It is definitely a value with the significant price markdown as a Baldwin brass plate will cost upwards of $100. See the attached pics for the packaging. The listing does not match the description showing both brass and aluminum.

Not oil rubbed bronze
It was flat black, not oil rubbed bronze. Will be returning.

so disappointed! first off, this is not oil rubbed bronze...it's just black. ordered this brand t...
so disappointed! first off, this is not oil rubbed bronze...it's just black. ordered this brand to match Baldwin oil rubbed bronze door hardware...it does not match.
Second, when it arrived, it was covered in some slimy mess. Unfortunately, my contractor and husband opted to try to clean and install. My husband says it's way cleaner than when arrived. It's still very splotchy. I would have returned. so I'm stuck with this splotchy kick plate.
I should have opted for one of the less expensive solutions.
