Our window is not of standard width so we asked our local HD floor sales associate to cut the shade to size and he did a fantastic job cutting it plus answering our questions thoughtfully. The shade is vinyl but it looks like a fabric material. It was very easy install.

These shades were perfect for my needs. I was replacing older shades in my husband's office and a spare bedroom. Because the brackets were already installed, they were a breeze to put up. They are more decorative and stylish than the shades I had, a definite plus for this product. The price point is amazing and they also arrived quicker than expected. However, I would not use them in our master bedroom because they are not actually room darkening.

Product took over 7 weeks to arrive. When it did, it was the wrong size - I ordered the cut-to-size shade to be 57.75 inches wide and the shade that arrived was only 56 inches wide, thus not completely covering the window. The attachment hardware was loose in the shipping box and outside of its original packaging. Finally, the packing list envelope attached to the outside of the box was completely empty.
I am extremely dissatisfied with this product and intend to seek a full refund.
