Built from rugged materials, to be able to handle the toughest sump pump environments, the SI-50V is one of the Basement Watchdog Professional line of heavy-duty sump/effluent pumps. Made with heavy-duty, all cast iron housing, stainless steel hardware, carbon ceramic shaft seal, dual ball bearings, and energy efficient permanent split capacitor (PSC) motor, the SI series pumps are designed for the toughest sump and effluent pump environments. Engineered to last longer, the SI-50V delivers the sure performance you need and more energy efficiency-saving you money in the long run. This 1/2 HP sump/effluent pump handles up to 4300 GPH and will pass 1/2 in solids. Only pulling 6.0 Amps, with unparalleled capacity, it keeps your sump pit empty while costing less to operate.     A:  This is an AC electrical powered pump, it will not run off a battery like our backup pumps do. It will need to be plugged into a working AC outlet to run.
