The Dover Wood Garage Kit with its 8 ft. W x 7 ft. H door opening allows enough room for a single car, small truck or SUV. The carriage house style doors makes for an attractive look to compliment your home and property. The Dover's wall height of 8 ft. 1 in. provides great headroom and plenty of room for storage shelves and space to organize your tools and other items. This Do-it-Yourself kit is constructed with premium 2 x 4 framing spaced 24 in. O.C. and L.P. (Louisiana Pacific) Smartside exterior siding primed and ready to paint. Check with your local permit authority before placing your order. Building is shipped directly to you via curbside delivery. Floor is not included. Shingles, felt paper, drip edge and paint are purchased separately.

Q:Do any of the 12x24 wood shed kits you sell come with a 60lbs snow load? Is the wind rating accurate in Home Depot's description on this model?

Answer This Question

A:  40lbs snow load and 130mph wind load are the ratings for the trusses spaced 24in. o.c. It is possible to increase snow load by adding more trusses but Best Barns doesn't have and engineered rated drawing. Richard Best Barns

    Q:On home depot's site they have the snow load listed as 60lbs per sq ft. On other sellers sites I see it listed as 40lbs per sq ft. Which is correct? Can trusses be placed at 16" on center instead of 24" on center to increase the snow load capacity?

    A:  Snow load rating is 40lbs per sq. ft. Additional trusses can be added for greater snow load however we do not have the amount of load it would obtain. Richard Best Barns
