Do you have this in 3 inch wide?
Asked by Pam September 18, 2020Hello and thanks for contacting us. Oak Bourbon is available in a 3 inch wide width but the random length planks are 9 inch up to 45 inch length. What product is best to clean this floor with?

The flooring should only be cleaned using a good quality cleaner (such as Bona Hard-wood Floor Cleaner) made specifically for wood flooring. Remove any loose dirt or grit from the floor. The cleaner should not be liberally applied to the flooring, only misted via the floor care system selected if automated or applied directly to the micro-fiber pad. Use of non-approved cleaning and maintenance products including oil soap, liquid/paste wax, oil, silicone or ammonia based products will void all warranties. There is some reflective property to the floor but unlike a High Gloss, the color of the floor still shows and is not fully washed out by light reflection. Since this is a totally natural product made from real wood, it is common to have knots, color variation, etc. The picture on the right shows worm holes on the back of a plank. This is normal, OK to install and will not affect the performance of the floor. The second plank shows a small section of a tongue that is loose. Occasionally an inconspicuous flaw such as this can be missed during the manufacturing process. The loose portion of the board can be cut off and the rest of the board utilized.
It is customary to purchase 10% extra for all flooring projects to allow for cuts, etc. This is especially important when installing natural products so that any boards with undesirable features can be culled out. An experienced wood flooring installer will be well versed in working with the irregularities that a solid floor poses and should have no problem installing this flooring. The use of putty and /or a stain pen during installation is considered normal for all wood floors.
