When using to measure, do you need to butt the back end of the unit to the opposite wall to measu...
Asked by harleyrider17 March 17, 2021It has been awhile since I have used it, but I know I have used it both ways. If you use it butt up against the wall then add the length of the unit to your measurement.
The laser distance measurer indicate when it is level horizontally and vertically?
Asked by Plangus January 6, 2021I use mine for measuring a distance. In order to use it for leveling, you must make sure that the instrument is in through Horizontal or Vertical position. I don't think it was made for leveling purposes.
Is the measurememt displayed from the top or bottom of the unit.

Asked by kc November 30, 2019It measures from the base. If you are looking for tolerances less than a 1/4 I would advise that this is NOT your tool
will it measure the distance in a tank from top of tank to water level in a tank
