Yes it improves it well, you do have to change the filter every 3 months but the improvement is noticeable.
In any shower head. Is really easy to install.
This was a Brita Filter, I no longer have packaging. You could contacts the company to get further insight. I noticed this in the reviews: The product is certified by whatever NSF and ANSI standards so I feel better using it. I bought a bunch of these for my whole family because I approve of the product, and it's a great value buy
Is using any water I use hot water and I see the difference. I move to central NY and the water was coming very different from where I am use to. I have not smell chlorine in the water even when the water is hot after I installed the filtration system.

Hello. Thank you for this inquiry. The Brita In-Line Shower Filtration System (Model SHS102) is certified by IAPMO R&T to NSF/ANSI 177 for Free Available Chlorine Reduction. In that it is not possible to determine the cause of the blue stain on your shower tiles, we could not say if this filter would address this issue.
It has a tiny label stating max 1.8 GPM.
