Questions & Answers

Is this hardwood "hard-wood"?

I read some comments saying this floor is as soft as pine wood, which is very soft, does the hardwood floor become harder as time passes?

I have a mitre saw can I install this my self, I'm quite mechanical but have never installed flooring. There is carpet now.

If I can, you can. Rent or buy a floor nailer and compressor; you will also need a nail set, a drill for the edge pieces, tape measure, and a strong back. Watch the many Youtube videos for tips on laying it out ahead of time (racking the floor). Also, pay attention to what flooring is under your carpet - it should be a certain type and thickness. Good luck. As permanent as each board seems, you CAN pull up a mistake...
