Answer This Question

A:  From all I have found out about these plants the answer is NO! Some other varieties can be kept indoors, but they are not as amazing as the outdoor ones

A:  This is an outdoor tree only. If you are looking for indoor trees you might want to try ficus.

        Answer This Question

A:  Yes, but why would you want to? If you want to grow it in a bed to further the trunk development, then go for it. If you want a garden plant, then look for mugo pines as garden plants and don't spend your money for one trained as a pre-bonsai. Mugos can be had as a garden plant for as little as 6.99 this way. This has to be kept outside year round anyway. They are very finicky also.

Q:if planting three what is the distance between them. ex: 4 inches?? 3 inches?? How big do they get at maturity. That should be considered in the original planting distance and area? I got NO instructions on this. I always get that on other bushes or similar bushes. I got no paper or instructions. I know nothing on watering needs or preferred sunlight. Can you please inform me on these questions?

            Answer This Question

A:  It is an outside bonsai and prefers sunshine in morning and some indirect sunlight in afternoon. They are very hearty trees and can become quite large (I believe fully mature they can get up to 8 feet tall in the wild). Water every time you see the soil has become dried out. Do not let the soil go too dry for too long, but do not keep soil too soggy

Great product! I'm very happy I bought it.
The mogu pine I received was a very nice "pre-bonsai". The tree was shipped quicker than promised and was shipped well. The base of the tree, including the pot, was wrapped in plastic and taped up. There was a piece of cardboard holding the pot in place and then the box was filled with packing peanuts. When I got the tree, the soil was still moist and all the needles still nice and green. The tree itself was not styled except how you see in the picture, which is good because I like to style them. Still a very young plant so it's very mold-able to your desires. The photo's provided were right after I pulled it out of the box and removed the plastic.

Was a gift and they loved it , like the pine look with the typical bonzai trunk design. Plus the platform with rocks set it off nicely.

Can’t recommend this. Second one now died
Looked good when it arrived but watering it twice a week and with very mild weather no hot days yet it browned out and died within a month!
