The fan is great, but the light could be brighter
If you need a fan that moves alot of air this is it! That fact that the blades are plastic is less than ideal, but they don't look cheap. The reason that I'm giving the fan 4 stars is for the remote and the app. The remote doesn't have a good range and you do have to move close for it to work. Also, my app updated and I had to register the fan all over again. It does work with my Alexa, but it has a hard time changing the light color.

Remote Range Poor, Called for New Motherboard
Installation was fairly easy however directions were a bit difficult to understand. After installing the fan the remote had to be within 2 feet of the fan to work and the app didn't work at all. I called Carro, they sent new motherboard, adapter and remote and emailed instructions for motherboard replacement. Installed new hardware. Fan, remote and app work great, light has warm and daylight settings and variable brightness. 10 fan speeds allow to adjust airflow very easily.

I purchased two (one white and one black/gold) to replace...
I purchased two (one white and one black/gold) to replace two outdated fans in my home. These were installed by a handyman but he said it was extremely easy to do. We have low ceilings so I love the low profile of these fans. Extremely quiet. I read previous reviews mentioning a ticking or rattling sound, I don't have that issue at all. The remote is also nice and easy to use. I like the option to dim the lights and adjust the fan settings. The fans are in my master and kids room and give off a good amount of light. I highly recommend.

Beautiful and functional!
I am really happy with my purchase and the quality of these fans. My only issue which I won't use against in tbe rating is I have two fans in my outdoor terrace and can't pair them to one remote. They come programmed already so I have two use two remotes. Other than that, they work great, look super modern and stylish and I'm very happy with them. Super easy to install as well.

do not waste your time
it resets and turns off the fan every 30 min and the lights come on. I reset it multiple times but cutting off the breaker and it last a day and back to turning on every 30 min

pros and cons
Works well w Google Home. Voice controls pair well. However issues - when you flip switch, and turn off/on, mode resets to only light on. So if you had fan and light on, then turned off at the switch, then you came back later, and turned it on at the switch. Only the light would turn on. All the settings, fan and light are not saved. Other issue is that the fan blades are actually off-white.

Hello,
The fan should be operated using the remote or apps, and not the switch. Turning off the switch will disconnect the fan from the electricity and will reset the fan settings.

This fan was relatively easy to assemble and install. The lightweight makes it easier to handle and overall safe to hang from your ceiling. It’s a good value fan featuring many intuitive operational settings. I do recommend it.
