A:  This outer door frame measures 32" tall by 20" wide. So if your opening is 34" by 20.5", then this door could not be "trimmed", because it (this door) is smaller than your hole and would fall right through your opening... You might however be able to frame it in a bit smaller for the cut out dimensions of 29.5" by 17.5" to make it fit inside of that. Good luck, Al

    Very flimsy
    The door has no support at all and very flimsy. Needs to have a piece of thin sheet metal to cover the whole door on the inside.

    This is a very good quality product and the shipping / delivery went great. I do have one issue with the product - the door cannot be reversed to swing opposite! This could be very easily corrected in manufacturing by adding a hinge above and below or spacing the existing hinge points to work in either swing.
