ALOT. Mine has a BBQ, ply wood and granite slab on top. Sides have hardy backer board, lots of mortar, and accent stones.

Anything is possible! However, the weight of the frame, appliances it holds, and materials applied to sides and top make it very heavy. Also, with gas and electricity run to it I suggest securing the frame to the ground to prevent movement. The weight alone may not be supported by your deck?

The line drawings indicate several 'base supports' that appear to elevate the entire frame off of the ground. What is the clearance off the ground? Also, how does one level the frame when installed on a sloping porch foundation?
Asked by: Curly
Thank you for your question. The base supports are 3/4" tall with a primary role of venting gas fumes. Gas fumes travel toward and need adequate ventilation for safety. Leveling can be done by placing shims under the base supports. They have a plastic liner which will help prevent slippage. Thank you for your interest in this Cal Flame BBQ island kit.
