Just say yes to Smurf Tube! I've been using this stuff for years when I need to run network cables in places that need protection. Most recently, I needed to run drops in a very old hardware store where the only way to get the cables to the location was going through a dirt crawl space that is not weather sealed. I have 3 90º turns and some other funny angles. and the two cables pulled through the 80' of conduit as smooth as could be. The rib construction helps greatly reduce friction. Pro Tips: Secure it every 4 to 5'. You can hook a shopvac to one end, tie a small wad of some kind string, and suck it right though the tube. Stick with the 3/4", even if you only need the 1/2", it can helps things pull better. If things are pulling a bit hard, you can use pulling wax/gel, but hand soap or gel hand sanitizer works well, too. For the 3/4", 1-1/8" hole is the perfect size for it to slip though but remain snug. If your penetration goes between inside and outside, seal around it with silicone.

I’d give Home Depot and this Carlon tubing 5 stars...
I’d give Home Depot and this Carlon tubing 5 stars but HD doesn’t sell couplings for this product. So when I have a few feet left from one roll it would be nice to couple it together with another piece so I don’t have to waste the short pieces.
