Hello, Unfortunately, we are not familiar with the specifics of this particular water heater. Cash Acme model # 23576-0150 is set at 150 psi and 210°F with a CSA BTU/hr rating of 105,000 and an ASME BTU/hr rating of 500,000. It will be necessary to contact the water heater's manufacturer to make sure the BTU/hr rating, set pressure, set temperature and size of this valve is adequate for your particular water heater. A spec sheet with dimensions for this valve can be found in the link below. If you have additional questions please don't hesitate to reach out to our technical support department at 877-700-4242. https://www.cashacme.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/NCLX_Spec.pdf Best Regards,

Will this replace a NCLX-5S

Answers

Hello, The Cash Acme NCLX-5 and NCLX-5S T&P valves have the same CSA (105,000 BTU/hr) and ASME (500,000 BTU/hr) ratings so their capacities are the same. Recognized authorities specify that a temperature actuated relief valve be installed in such a manner that the temperature sensing element is in contact with the hot water in the top six inches of the water heater. The NCLX-5S has a slightly longer shank and a slightly shorter element so we recommend contacting the water heater manufacturer to see if this valve's element will sit in the top six inches of water in your particular model of water heater. If you have additional questions regarding Cash Acme products please feel free to contact our technical support department at 877-700-4242. Best Regards,

The relief valve should have a ring at the base with the specifications. It never hurts to check the owner's manual for the water heater, available by going on line for the manufacture.

Hello, It is very important that you use a T&P valve that is suitable for your particular model of water heater. Your water heater will call for a T&P relief valve with a specific pressure, relieving capacity and temperature rating. We recommend contacting the manufacturer of the water heater to see what they recommend for your particular unit. easy retrofit, buy yourself a good wrench for install, its worth it.
simple install as long as you are aware what you need to do to drain the tank to the pressure relief level. Depending on your install and drainage, you might get some practice working on your PVC skills as well. A few install videos on the web were great to make this an easy install.
