So much better than I expected!
I was looking for a butcher-block type board for the top of my diy kitchen cart and this was exactly right! Just the right size, nicer quality in person than it even looked like in the photo and a bit thicker than I expected as well. All for about 1/10th of the price of the actual butcher blocks.

For the price point this is the best cutting board...
For the price point this is the best cutting board I have ever owned. I like the thickness for its stability. There were many on Etsy but the prices were phenomenal. Why pay more? This is well made and does what a cutting board is meant to do. Very pleased.

If I were able to give 1/2 stars I'd score this board at 4.5. It really is as beautiful as it is...
If I were able to give 1/2 stars I'd score this board at 4.5. It really is as beautiful as it is functional. The 1/2 star take off would be for the weight. Not that it's heavier then I'd expect a 20 x 30 board to weigh, but that it doesn't feature the handle grooves in the sides. The board itself is a beast to move but when it's loaded down with food it really becomes cumbersome to manage. You can get by without the handles on the smaller sizes, but this 20 x 30 practically demands them. If it's laying on a counter top larger than the board you have to push the board over the edge so you can get your hands under to lift. You can't just pick it up - just something to keep in mind.
The finish is also a bit rough. I wouldn't take off another 1/2 star for this as it was expected due to the price. If it had a more smooth, polished feel to it I'd imagine the price would be at a minimum at least $50 more. If you need this size of a board and you don't plan to constantly be moving it around you can't go wrong with the Catskill 20 x 30.

I really like this cutting board especially for making bread and pastas. It’s large so flour doesn’t get all over the place. I would recommend it to everyone who spends time in the kitchen. It’s also attractive.
