A: Model# 1323 is not one solid piece. It is made of strips of wood that are glued together.
A: No only one side has a drain grove. I get many compliments on this piece. It’s a great cutting board.
A: No, the back is flat. I installed protective feet on the flat size, so it can cover the stove and not scratch it. This adds workspace when not cooking.
A: I'm not a lumber expert, but I'm not aware of any wood that is heat resistant, unless it has some type of sealant on it. Wood is combustible. I also don't own an air fryer so I don't know how much heat emits from the bottom of it, but I suspect not enough to catch the board on fire. If the board loses it's moisture content however, it will eventually warp & crack, so I would not suggest putting something on top of it that radiates heat.
A: Our cutting boards are made of wood and are not heat, I would suggest a tempered glass cutting board.
A: Harvested Sustainable means that loggers do not cut all the trees down in the forest. The number of mature trees harvested is less than the trees that are left. Meaning that the balance of the forest is not disrupted and can be sustain indefinitely.
