Q:The size is listed as 48 inches wide, which is what we need; but elsewhere on the site it says 28 inches wide, and one of the questions listed it in mm, which is converting to very small measurements. Can someone verify actual size?

Terrific closet solution
Very happy with this product. Utilized this item in conjunction with it's counterparts (6 drawers, 3 towers with 2 straight bars, 1 shelf, 2 curved bars) to create a custom storage system for our walk-in closet. All items assembled rather quickly and easily. I was able to put together and install the entire arrangement (see picture) in less than a day. I'm very happy with quality of the product. Wood appears to be durable and the finish was a good quality. I also added the laminate flooring which was from Home Depot. Overall I am very excited for how the project came out and have had many positive comments from those who have seen it.

Nice looking, but installation mishaps.
I ordered many items from this line to convert a spare bedroom into a walk-in closet. Two of these, specifically. The installation instructions assume that you are installing everything flush against the wall, which is not the case with most people, as I have moulding along my floor. It took many adjustments to get all of this to fit together properly because of this. I had to remove the two towers this connected to from the wall to reposition everything a couple times to get it right. And, again, because it is unable to sit flush against the wall, the brackets included to secure it to a wall stud would not work. I had to go purchase large shelf brackets that extended far enough out to reach it for support. When finished, it all looked great, but you need to piece everything together carefully before you permanently affix anything to any walls. The second corner I did worked out ok using this method, just be careful it doesn't fall over in the meantime.

Not available - big problem.
We renovated, master closet is a blank slate. Ordered 3 skinny towers, some top shelves, a whole bucketload of drawers, and four 90 deg hanger rods. It all went together great, but I really need corner shelves. We got walnut. The walnut isn't even listed. The cherry is, but not available. The chocolate is just too horrid a match to buy.
Why are the corner shelf units discontinued? The system really needs them to fully work. I will be making four of these corner units from scratch, and resenting it badly. The system otherwise is great, but I'm very disappointed at the lack of corner shelves.
