Not Aesthetic
I'm not sure how to best say it, but simply this was an ugly batch of wood. My first order looked great, so I didn't think twice to make another one. Unfortunately neither side looks usable. Every piece has large sections that are yellow to green hued.

I needed something to cover the framed out access hole to the motor for my whirlpool bath tub. This worked perfectly and was cost effective. It is thin and light; I think I will be able to just use Velcro to keep it in instead of having to use hardware. The free custom cutting was so convenient. It fit just right. I chose the poplar plywood panel to complete a repair on a DIY fail on a kitchen cabinet that I had cut a large opening into so I could wire up a range hood attached to it. When that didn't work out, I had to hide the hole and an HD search revealed I could order the poplar plywood panel for convenient home delivery. The plywood arrived in good shape except for a small edge section that got damaged during shipment which was easily cut off with only 1/2 inch loss of material. The panel cut cleanly using a table saw, and the front and back of the plywood are smooth and accepted stain well. I completed the repair and am very satisfied with the result and recommend this panel for your next DIY build project.

The 1/4 IN. X 2 FT. X 4 FT. plywood arrived in great shape, great packaging, the board was between 2 pieces of cardboard. I'll be using the cardboard to spray paint my Kitchen and Baths cabinet pulls. There is no dings, dent, chips or edge voids. This is a even 1/4" all the way around the board. You can use this for almost any project I will be using this to make a nice bird house, searching for Free Bird House Plans online. Don't know if I will paint it out or just stain it, either way it should look great. You won't be disappointed with this plywood.

The face side of this ¼” poplar plywood is perfect for my project. The sheet is exactly 2’ wide and is a tad over 4’ high. The edges are straight and not jagged. The face has wonderful poplar graining and should stain nicely. The face is smooth and feels ready for finishing. The backside of this piece of plywood, although not intended for exposure, would work well as the back of a cabinet. My project involves using this 2 X 4 sheet of poplar plywood to face the top of a rather deep doorway in our basement. I’ll corner bead the exposed edge. The panel is made in the USA and can be cut to order. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Good plywood for many uses.
This 1/4 in. x 2 ft. x 4 ft. PureBond Poplar Plywood Project Panel by Columbia Forest Products is really good plywood that can be used on many different projects in my woodworking. I want to say right off that this plywood is NOT 1/4" thick. It is 15/64". So if you plan on using this plywood in any type of dado you will need a 15/64" router bit. That being said I do like working with this brand of plywood. It is a 3-ply with 1/28" veneer on both sides. The veneer used looks exactly like Poplar, in this case. And the same can be said for all the other hardwood panels in this series, they are true to the species. One side does look better than the other but just barely. This plywood can easily be stained, painted or sealed. I have used it in several different projects. It can be to make cabinets, entertainment centers, tables, shelves, headboards, wall panels and just about anything you care to create. When cutting on a tble saw be sure to use at least an 80 tooth blade to help prevent chipping.

Nice finished plywood
Shipped uva ups in a large card board box, large enough to ensure their will be no damage to the product.
The panel is finished on both sides and smooth to the touch.
Its not warped and looks nice.
I do not see any splits on the wood surface or any seams like some plywood that seems to be glued together.
This has more of a quality of a solid sheet then bonded layers, since even on the cut ends I do not see any layers.

great plywood
The COLUMBIA FOREST PRODUCTS 1/4 in.x 2 ft. x 4 ft. purebond poplar plywood project panel was delivered packaged like a pro. When I unboxed it I found a nice grained poplar 2x4 ft. flat panel. It was sanded well on one side and that is the exposed side. I am going to use it for a small table top I am building. This panel must be cut with a fine tooth blade. These panels finish very well.
