A:  In the absence of a statement about warranty, I'd assume NADA :)

                by|Dec 13, 2018

A:  Mine were flimsy too . The tips weren’t strong enough to bend wire very well so I just use them for striping. I don’t know about a warranty.

                Worked OK until they broke
They strip well. 3 months after purchase they broke while crimping a connector.

                  Poor quality
They broke while stripping wire. Nothing crazy just simple speaker wire!!! Cheap junk, do not buy.

Poor Material - Clever Design, Cast metal break
Good idea/design, but the quality of the material is very poor. It broke exactly where other reviews mention after 2nd or 3rd use. I was crimping a blue insulated butt splice exactly where I was supposed to on the tool and "snap"! I purchased in-store without reading the reviews, but now I see this is happening to others. Home Depot should pull from their shelves... I'm guessing this is happening more often than reported and people are just throwing them in the trash after they break.

low quality materials. Tool broke in the middle of a job while crimping a small blue connector. cost me a lot of time.

                            WILL BREAK IF USED REGULARLY
*DONT BUY THIS ITEM* I'm a low voltage technician. The concept for r this tool is good, always like to have one tool that does multiple things. The problem is that it's made from poor quality metal. THE WONT LAST 4 MONTHS. Jaws broke while crimping a 12 gauge wire connector. *DON'T BUY THIS ITEM*

Bad steel cheaply made but great design
I was needing a tool to wire strip a lot of connections. This did the job for about 100 or so strips. Then I flipped the pliers around to use on a crimp and the BOOM the end "Exploded" and hit me about my left eye. It drew blood and left me with a head ache for the rest of the day. I only was using my right hand to crimp while holding the wire bundle with my left. I have pretty strong grip but this has never happened with any tool/plier set I have used in 40 years. Looking at the failure, it appears to be a stress point fracture. Super cheap materials. As you can see they are basically brand new.

                                Beware
first let me say I really liked the concept of this tool , it has a wire stripper and crimper together . The big problem with this is as the other reviews said , it's cheaply made! I crimped a connector and the Jays baiscly exploded under pressure hitting me just above my right eye, felt like I got punched right in my face . my son laughed at me but I wasn't that amused. These are junk !

This double jaw Wire Stripper and Crimper has a lot more features than the basic wire stripper I have used for years. It has dual function jaws that rotate by flipping the handle. For me the added function for crimping is a big feature. Before now I have used plyers to do make shift crimping. I use this tool around the house and for help family and friends with simple wiring projects.
