This hand truck converts easily (no pins or tools) from upright 2-wheel hand truck to a 4-wheel hand truck in one swift motion - saving you time and energy. While in 4-wheel hand truck you can move up to 800 lbs. with ease, and 600 lbs. while in 2-wheel hand truck position. It is equipped with flat-free tires, allowing you to work on multiple terrains.

Very nice
The older I get, the more I want help to do things. This hand truck is especially versatile because it functions in the two positions as described. Choosing the vertical, traditional type or the horizontal type is easy with a release that is operable with one hand. The larger wheels are fixed and the little wheels rotate to make steering easy when it is horizontal. I can't think of anything I will every need to move that will stretch its 800# weight capacity. It was fully assembled and delivered ready to work as soon as it was out of the box.

The Cosco Steel 2-in-1 Hand Truck (800 lbs. Weight Capacity, Black, 2 Positions) is a useful addition to any household. It is a significant upgrade from our previous hand truck primarily because it can be used as either an upright or 4-wheel hand truck. What is most impressive is how amazingly easy it is to convert from one position of the hand truck to another. I have never seen a conversion so well designed. Even though it will hold up to 600 lbs. in an upright mode or 800 lbs. in a 4-wheel mode, it is very easy to push. The wheels roll effortlessly. The one advantage of our older hand truck is that it had a curved back so it is easier to use with round objects such as trash cans. But then the Cosco hand truck is easier to use for flat items. There was no assembly required. The hand truck was cleverly packaged to minimize materials. See the photo. It is made in Viet Nam and comes with a 5-year warranty.

Perfect hand truck
The Costco Hand Truck sold by The Home Depot is a perfect size and weight for any home owner. It comes completely assembled and is easy to use right out of the box! This is a very versatile, sturdy moving device and can handle up to 800 Lbs. of weight. I really like how smooth and easy it is to switch between using either two or 4 wheels and the handle is comfortable. The unit is well engineered and a great to have. Although very functional, the only thing I would redesign would be to increase size of the wheels. I highly recommend this this product to anyone who is in need of a quality hand truck.

Fantastic Dolly
When I received the Cosco brand steel 2-in-1 Hand Truck I was highly surprised. It has 2 positions for moving products and carries up to 600 pounds up-right and 800 pounds in the flat position. Where on most dollies, you have to remove the handle to change from up-right to truck positions, this one has a flip of the catch to convert it from one position to the other. It is made from a heavy duty steel and will be handed down to the kids when I'm no longer here. If you need dependable dolly, grab this one.
