AnswerIt is a regular grower's pot made of some kind of plastic material, so the plants will need to be removed from the pots for planting.

Took forever to deliver. Costa Farms sent me dead flowers. I had to throw these and others out and Home Depot refunded my account. Extremely upsetting; will never again buy plants on line.

These flowers arrived but 3 of the six were effectively dead. So disappointing. They were packed well, but completely dried out when they arrived. Wat too expensive for what I received.

Bright annuals that bring a pop of color are a must have on my front porch. So easy to pull from their package and pot. They remain hardy which is a plus. I live in Wisconsin and ordered these Marigolds. They arrived in good shape and ready to plant. However, it is still too early to plant in Wisconsin. I have them in my living room and I am hoping they make it until it is time to plant. Marigolds are a hardy annual so I should be able to plant them once the ground is warm here.That would be around May. Unless we have a warm Spring.

I was pleasantly surprised how healthy and protected these marigolds were when they arrived on my porch in a cardboard box. They were packaged very well, with half of the plants on the bottom of the box and half on the top. The pots were held in place with clear plastic shrink-wrap that covered the tops of the pots enough to keep the potting mix from going everywhere. There were also sticks on both top and bottom to prevent the plants from shifting and getting smashed or broken.
Given the protective packaging, all the plants were in great shape when I took them out of the packaging. Most of them were either flowering or close to it, with no dead tissues and healthy green foliage. Overall I’m impressed at the health of the plants and the fact that they arrived looking great and ready for planting. Also, even though these are labeled as orange, there is a lot of deep red in the flower petals - they are really beautiful.

These flowers were beautiful right out of the box and I was very impressed with the packaging. First, the box is oversized so the plants have plenty of air to breathe in transit. The little sticks in the picture hold the pots in place if the box is turned upside down, and the plants are wrapped in plastic to ensure the soil and plants stay put. They arrived in absolutely perfect condition! The box said to protect from freezing. We still have frosty nights here and the plants did not like being kept indoors at night and some cloudy days outside, so they suffered a bit. Once the frost passes in a couple of weeks, they should really take off in the ground.

These Costa Farms 1 Pt. Yellow Marigolds are sturdy young plants and are adorned with many blossoms and fine foliage. The colors are the typical orange and dark burnt orange color and are bright and healthy looking. Each of the six plants is individually wrapped in clear plastic which leaves an inch and a half diameter opening for watering before the plants are able to be planted outside in the ground. They were delivered in an expertly packed box, with no damage to the plants. Costa Farms really knows how to pack a plant for shipping for delivery! No need to wait for blooms, there are plenty to enjoy right now.
