A: Thank you for choosing Danco products. Unfortunately, we do not offer a strainer in a 1" diameter.
A: This item works great, No more clogged drains, inexpensive solution
A: Thank you for contacting Danco. With proper care and cleaning we have yet to see any instances of mold on this hair catcher.
A: No, this is not mold resistant.
A: I've been using the Danco hair strainer for 2 years now. It is mold resistant but we usually discard and replace every 6 months d/t discoloration from all the female hair products the women of my life use. Even after you clean over time the color just looks unsightly but no mold present. (Tip. Baking soda, vinegar and small brussel brush cleans it up right away)
A: We love ours and haven't had any unusual problems. It is unbelievable the amount of hair this prevents from going down the drain. We use one of those daily shower sprays and squeegee the walls and floor after every shower and also take a paper towel and "empty" the hair catcher. Once a week the shower gets a more thorough cleaning with something like Scrubbing Bubbles, Kaboom or Lysol cleaners. Every now and then you may have a slimy buildup on or under the catcher. When that happens we spray tilex mold/mildew on the top & bottom of the catcher and in the drain, let it sit a while or even overnight then rinse at beginning of the next shower.
A: I have used it for a few months and it is fine. We clean it out after everyone showers.
A: Thank you for choosing Danco products. The Danco #10306 Hair Catcher Bathroom Tub Strainer will not work because the minimum drain size is 1-5/8" for this strainer.
A: No. The minimum drain diameter is 1-5/8".
A: Try it and if it doesn't fit return for exchange or refund with the receipt.
A: it did not work on our drain :( center was made to deep and would not work in our drain
A: It sits into a round drain. It's not a mat that would lay on top of square drain.
A: Hi Sc - it should. I have a metal drain and it works perfectly - doesn't move at all. Take care Sc, hope this helps you.
A: No it won't . You need a flat screen .
A: No. It will fit only on rounded drain with minimum diameter of 1-5/8".
A: Thank you for your interest in Danco products. This is intended to fit into an open bathtub drain. This tub strainer is designed to fit tub drains with a diameter of 4 in. to 4-1/2 in. Your shower drain may be too small for this hair catcher. We can not guarantee a perfect fit.
