I've been using the Danco hair strainer for 2 years now. It is mold resistant but we usually discard and replace every 6 months d/t discoloration from all the female hair products the women of my life use. Even after you clean over time the color just looks unsightly but no mold present. (Tip. Baking soda, vinegar and small brussel brush cleans it up right away)
Thank you for choosing Danco products. The Danco #10306 Hair Catcher Bathroom Tub Strainer will not work because the minimum drain size is 1-5/8" for this strainer.
No it won't . You need a flat screen .
I'm not sure this will work for a flat drain. It needs to sit in drain and even if you flip the center up it might sit off floor too much to actually be effective.
No. It is either the catcher or the plug
Unfortunately not....we're in the same boat. It fits our shower stall great but, the bathtub in our second bathroom is way too shallow. For that bathtub, we use the following type of "cup". It isn't perfect but works well enough and is the best resolution we've found so far. https://www.homedepot.com/p/DANCO-1-31-64-in-Laundry-Tray-Cup-88949/203675134 Best of Luck!
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, this will fit your bathtub drain.
No. Because it does go down slightly into the drain to prevent it from moving around and catch more hair.
inch and a half. it raises up and will totally blow your mind. awesome hair filter and you will be fine with that id. s;
so the plug can come all the way out, easily? if it doesn't then you will have to determine if you want the plug more often than the hair catcher, uk? i bought this haircatcher and the part that goes in the hole is really small, so. i am saying a safe but - so long as that plug will come out when you want to catch some hair. you will be astonished by this product, i am. s;
