Q:Can I purchase just the chrome parts ?

A: Thank you for your interest in Danco products and for your inquiry. The handles are available separately as model number 88084 for the hot and cold handles and model number 88083 for the diverter handle. Unfortunately, the direct fit escutcheon tubes and flanges are not available separately, but model number 10307 should fit.

A: I purchased The Danco kit several months back and installed the kit. The tension to turn knobs is perfect, not to tight but not loose. A little turn of the knob goes a long way. They have seen a lot of use without any issues. I would recommend this product good quality at a fair price.

A: Thank you for your interest in Danco products. I believe you are referring to the faucet "seats", which are the small brass rings with threads on one side of them and have the hexagonal hole in the middle. Those are what the seat washers on the back of the stem push against to stop the flow of water when you turn your handle to the off position. They are installed at the very back of the valve body.

A: Those rings go onto the stems before screwing them into the existing plumbing. This then allows the long chrome tubes to have something to thread on to, thus keeping them in place. This should all be described in the instructions included in the kit.
