Yes it is but mine never showed up so I had to order another one somewhere else
Good question. The flexvolt is supposed to deliver considerably more power or torque with a 60v battery. But I think the non flexvolt saw will also deliver more power with a 60v batt. I had a non flexvolt drill that had noticably more torque with a 60v batt than with a 20v batt
20v and 60v batteries yes but not the 18v
China for the most part.
If by early you mean the old 18v nicad then yes these are WAY better. These are every bit as good as corded
Yes From the item description: Optional dust port allows connection to a dust extractor to minimize dust during cutting (DWE575DC Dust Port sold separately).
No but it does have led lights . Yes they need to make one with laser
I dont have any 9s but I would think so
No!! And for the price I think it should. I bought an after market product that was supposed to work but didn’t. Otherwise a great saw.
Hey KQLE, sorry for the delay on this answer. Please disregard the previous answers, as they are misleading at best. The other model you refer to as being labeled XR (DCS570) is the the predecessor to this FlexVolt Advantage model (DCS573). You are correct that they both are brushless. The main difference, besides some cosmetic updates, is that this FlexVolt Advantage model has an updated motor and electronics that allow it to gain some extra power when paired with a FlexVolt battery. Using a non-FlexVolt battery will give the saw about the same power as its XR predecessor, the DCS570. So if you do not plan on using FlexVolt batteries with it, they are basically the same saw. If you use FlexVolt batteries with it, this will be more powerful.
